  • NBTT hosts Render Workshop 3rd-13th April, 2021.
    The workshop brought together facilitators from Render; Mbuthia Wairison (Kenya), Rabuma Shiwara (Tanzania), NBTT consultants and the team of translators, advicers and the community checkers from the Kadung Oral Bible translation project of Mangu LGA, Plateau State.
    The exercise which lasted two weeks was intense and saw  remarkable progress made in the oral translation project which suffered setback due to the Covid 19 pandemic. It is however beleived that with the return of all the stakeholders on the project, lost time will be redeemed and the project will be concluded in good judging from the progress achieved during the workshop.

NBTT BIDS FAREWELL TO THE OUTGOING EXECUTIVE DIECTOR
The send forth ceremony in honour of the out gone Executive Director of NBTT  Dr. Yakubu Aba La'a held on Friday 30th by 2pm at the NBTT headquarters Jos. The memorable event was graced by members of NBTT's BOT , staff , family, well wishers, loved ones and close associates.
He stayed at the helm of  NBTT affairs for two consecutive tenures from 2012-2020. The management and staff of NBTT wishes him well in his future endeavours.

NESREA BRINGS THE GOSPEL OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TO NBTT
The National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) Jos branch has educated the staff of NBTT on the need to take care of the environment in a seminar titled "You and your Environment". The event took place on 6th May, 2021.

Sir Francis Akanu Ibiam KCMG KBE was a distinguished medical missionary who was appointed Governor of Eastern Region, Nigeria from December 1960 until January 1966 during the Nigerian First Republic. From 1919 to 1951, he was known as Francis Ibiam, and from 1951 to 1967, Sir Francis Ibiam.

He is among the founding fathers of NBTT who he played key roles and held grounds for the transition of ILT into NBTT after ILT was evicted by the then Nigerian Military Government on allegations of epionage.

As NBTT clocks 45, we remember and honour his legacies.

Our projects in the North-East have undergone a lot of setbacks in their translation because of insurgency, pray that God will grant them the grace and the enablement to continue with the work even in the face of adversity.

NBTT GOES TO FARM
Following the constitution of five committees to help improve the running of the Trust by the Executive Director, Mrs Patience M. Toma on 31st March, 2021, the farm committee has swung into action by cultivating some portions of the abundant land within the NBTT premises. One of the aims of the committee is to help NBTT achieve self sustenance through the sales of produce from the farm project. May the lord reward our effort with bountiful harvest in Jesus' name
